Love all the combinations! I had a few questions about this plie combo:
– “plie over half toe” is this also referred as “forced arch”?
– What is “inverted port de bras”?
Thank you so much! I have your pointe book and it has really enhanced and aided my teaching 🙂

Hi Nora! I’m sorry your comment went to my spam mail so I’m just now seeing it. Yes, forced arch is the same thing. Inverted port de bras is where the arm goes to 5th en haut, then through 5th en avant and down to 5th en bas, finishing in 2nd. Just the opposite of the usual port de bras that goes through 5th en haut. I probably made up the term “inverted” port de bras because that’s how it made sense to me. 🙂
I’m glad the book and site are helping!
